We’re continuously looking for ways to improve your support experience, and we’re excited to share an upcoming platform upgrade that will help us serve you more efficiently, with faster responses and improved visibility into your requests.

What’s happening?
Our support system is being upgraded to a new platform to make it faster and easier for you to get help.

When?
Saturday, April 4th at 10:00 PM CDT (3:00 AM UTC)

What you need to do:
Create a new user profile on our updated platform.
After the upgrade, you’ll receive an email with instructions to set up your new login.

What to expect
- During the migration window, there may be a brief period where submitting or updating support tickets is unavailable.
- Any emails sent to our support address during this time will be processed once the migration is complete.
- All of your records and history from the previous platform will be migrated to the new one

Scheduled - Salt Security will be performing a scheduled maintenance update on customer deployed Hybrid Appliances. This update is required to enhance the learning coverage for API entities and ensure continued service performance.

Maintenance Details:
- Affected Customers: All Hybrid Appliance Deployments
- Expected Impact:
a. Minimal to no impact on traffic collection to the Salt SaaS platform during maintenance
b. Hybrid Appliances will continue to process traffic during the update
c. Salt Security will monitor Hybrid performance post-update and reach out if customer-specific concerns arise

Technical Overview:
- Update Type: Leaner Pod and Metrics agent update
- Deployment Method: Remote update from Salt Security to all active Hybrid Appliances

Update - We have confirmed the EU Portal is now functioning correctly and US is still up and operational. We are monitoring the issue with our vendor for the next few hours before closing this event.

Identified - We have identified the issue which is being caused by our authorization vendor. We are working with them to resolve this.

All services behind the portal are operating as expected and traffic is being collected, however, logins are not authenticating at this time.
